[30.01] The Small-Scale Angular Correlation Function for a High-Galactic Latitude Faint Field

D.Woods, G.G.Fahlman, H.B.Richer (UBC)

The galaxies in a high-galactic latitude field are analysed for clustering using angular correlation analysis. Our sample is unique in that, with a total of 10h of exposure time in V, R and I distributed equally between filters, the seeing for the summed frames is $\sim0.7$ arcsec. Data of this quality allows us to measure the galaxy correlation function to very small angular separations. A preliminary analysis of the ellipticity distribution of the observed galaxies is also presented.
