We have obtained the far ultraviolet spectrum(115-325nm)of the QSO 3C66A with the Hubble Space Telescope Faint Object Spectrograph(FOS).This object is located in the direction of a small group of faint galaxies with known redshift. The spectra have been reduced and analyzed with IRAF. Galactic halo lines of CI, CIV, SiII, SiIV, and other metal lines due to FeII, MgI, MgII, MnII and AlIII have been measured. Also, some of these lines have been detected at the 2 sigma level at redshifts of z=1.0026, 1.0206 and 1.444, all of which correspond with the the known foreground galaxy redshifts, and the QSO itself. Numerous Lyman Alpha forest lines have been measured in addition. We describe the significance of these results in the context of CIV/CII ratios of QSO's at large redshift.
