[43.03] High Resolution CO Observations of the -190 km s$^{-1}$ Molecular Gas in the Central 80'' of the Galactic Center

We have mapped the CO emission in J=2$\rightarrow$1 and J=1$\rightarrow$0 in a 140$''$ by 100$''$ region around Sgr A West at radial velocities from --250 to --170 km s$^{-1}$ with a resolution of 11$''$. The measurements were made in January 1992 with the IRAM 30-m telescope which has an angular resolution of 21$''$ for the 1$\rightarrow$0 line and 11$''$ for the 2$\rightarrow$1 line.

Our maps reveal that the --190 km s$^{-1}$ molecular feature reported by Liszt (1991, AAS Bulletin) appears to end at the brightest clump in the circumnuclear molecular ring (G\"usten et al. 1987, Ap. J.) and makes a sharp bend about a point 50$''$ due West of the southern end of the ring. Additionally, the blueshift increases with increasing distance from the ring and Galactic center.
