We present CCD photometry in the BVRI system of the open cluster NGC 2355, a largely unstudied cluster located in the galactic anticenter. Presented are results obtained using both IRAF/APPHOT and DAOPHOT to reduce multiple datasets obtained with the UAO 61-inch telescope, Mt. Bigelow, Arizona. The resulting color-magnitude diagrams show a well-defined sequence from the turnoff, near $V = 12.7$ and $B - V = 0.3$ to V$\approx$17, and present several giant candidates. It appears that NGC 2355 is a cluster whose age is on the order of that of Praesepe; fitting of theoretical isochrones allows an numerical value of $(2.51 \pm 0.83) \times 10^{9}$ years.
