We present optical (Gunn rz ), near-infrared (JHK), and mid-infrared (NQ) imaging and photometry of the active star formation region associated with the infrared reflection nebula GGD27-IRS in Sagittarius. Using these data, we investigate i) the population size and spatial distribution of young pre-main sequence stars in the region, ii) the optical to mid-infrared emission characteristics of the known young stellar objects, and iii) the nature of the extended mid-infrared emission at the centre of the GGD27-IRS bipolar reflection nebula/CO outflow.
