[51.11] Cluster of Planetary Nebulae

James F. Buell and Richard B.C. Henry (University of Oklahoma)

The results of Cluster Analysis on a sample of PNe is presented. We use R, z, $V_{LSR}$, He, N, O, Ne, and N/O as parameters. From these results we show that the bulge and disk PNe have the same chemical composition. We also find that: 1) He and N are enhanced in some bulge PNe by the same amount as found in some disk PNe; 2) the ratio of Ne/O found in the bulge PNe is the same as that found in the disk PNe; and 3) the same linear relation between log(Ne/H)+12 and log(O/H)+12 found by Henry (1989) applies to bulge PNe in addition to disk PNe, LMC PNe, SMC PNe, and HII regions. We discuss the implications of these facts as well as present some results for some unusual objects.
