We have obtained CCD images of the Galactic globular cluster NGC 6584 during three separate observing runs at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory. These have been used to construct a $(V,B-V)$ color-magnitude diagram which extends to $\approx2$ magnitudes below the main sequence turnoff. This diagram reveals a well-defined red giant branch and a horizontal branch populated on both sides of the RR Lyrae instability strip. It also exhibits a substantial blue straggler population. Along with an analysis of the blue stragglers, these data will be used to determine the cluster reddening and metal abundance as well as comment on its age relative to other clusters.
