[76.06] The Giant Barred Spiral Galaxy NGC 1530
Peter Teuben, Mike Regan, Stuart Vogel (Astronomy Department, University of Maryland, College Park, MD 20742, USA), Thijs van der Hulst (Kapteyn Laboratorium, University of Groningen, Netherlands), Richard Wainscoat (Institute for Astronomy, Honolulu, HI 96822, USA)
We present a number of observations of the giant barred spiral galaxy
NGC 1530. HI observations have been obtained with the WSRT. These
spectral line observations are complemented with Maryland-Caltech Fabry
Perot kinematic observations of the H$\alpha$ line and recent CO
interferometric observations from the 6-element BIMA millimeter-wave
array. UBVRI photometry and K-band imaging are used to constrain mass
models.
