[30.06] The Star Forming Core of L810: CO Outflows, CS Dense Gas, and a Jet

We have used the Haystack 37 meter radio telescope to obtain high angular resolution spectral line maps of the innermost region of the star forming Bok globule L810 (CB205). These maps cover the central $1 \times 1$ arcmin region with 10 arcsec resolution. One map was obtained in the CO (J = 1-0) spectral line in order to identify the source(s) of the high velocity outflowing gas previously detected by Xie \& Goldsmith (1990). Similarly, a CS (J = 2-1) map was obtained in order to find the location and kinematics of dense gas in this cloud core. Finally, the jet-like feature, seen in the near-infrared images of Yun et al (1993), was examined in two lines of SO and in two lines of SO$_2$, to search for any chemical abundance enhancements due to the expected post-shock gas produced in a jet--cloud interaction.
