[39.02] Observing with ISO: Examples from the Central Programme

R. Laureijs and N. Trams (ESA)

The ISO Central Programme is the collection of observations conducted under the guaranteed time allocated to the instrument PIs, the mission scientists, and the Science Operations Center Scientists. A quick overview of this Programme is presented, along with a description of the form in which it is published, to help proposers avoid duplicating guaranteed time observations. Specific examples of astronomical observations with ISO are drawn from the Central Programme to illustrate the capabilities and potential of the mission.
