[57.02] High Spatial Resolution Observations of the CS and CO Outflows from CRL 618.

A. R. Hajian (NAIC, Cornell Univ.), J. A. Phillips (Owens Valley Radio Telescope, Caltech), Y. Terzian (NAIC, Cornell Univ.)

We present aperture synthesis images of the protoplanetary nebula CRL 618 in the CS(2-1) line and the CO(1-0) line using the Owens Valley Radio Observatory millimeter interferometer. The images are of high quality and have spatially and kinematically resolved the outflowing molecular gas. Our line profiles show the P-Cygni features and high velocity emission that has been seen in other lines from CRL 618. We also present detailed computations that allow us to estimate the temperature and density of the emitting gas.
