ROSAT X-ray observations have been obtained of the group of galaxies associated with the giant spiral NGC 1961. Previous work had suggested that NGC 1961 is interacting with the intergalactic gas, but our X-ray observations show no evidence of a substantial IGM. Constraints on the size of the IGM, as well as the properties of the more than 40 discrete X-ray sources in the field will be presented.
