[104.06] Peculiarities of the Globular Cluster NGC 5694

C.H.B. K\"onig, G.G. Fahlman (UBC)

We present CCD images and photometry of the globular cluster NGC 5694. The images display bright blue quasi-stellar knots very close to the cluster core. The photometry indicates that these are unlikely to be chance superpositions of bright AGB stars. They seem to be part of a stellar population modified by the extreme surroundings in the cluster core.
