NGC~315, NGC~4261, and NGC~6251 have been observed with the PSPC and HRI on ROSAT to probe the environments of their well-known radio jets. The X-ray images show that the galaxies are associated with both nuclear (unresolved to the HRI) and extended (to the PSPC) components, which may be interpreted as non-thermal emission from the radio core source and thermal emission from an extended atmosphere. Spectral analysis of the PSPC data shows that the extended components have temperatures $\sim 0.5$~keV, and their angular extents are generally less than those of the radio jets. The extent to which the jets can be confined by the X-ray emitting gas is explored, assuming the minimum energy condition for the radio-emitting plasma, and by comparing the morphologies of the jets with the structures of the galaxy atmospheres.
