Low resolution long slit spectra of C/Mueller (1993a) obtained with the Steward Observatory 2.3m telescope are presented. Production rates for NH$_2$ obtained from the observed fluxes and a Monte Carlo/molecular dynamics model have been determined. The model accounts for molecular photodisociation and is presented together with results from other standard comet coma models. Narrow band images centered on the NH$_2$ (8-0) band at about 6338\AA, also obtained with the 2.3m Steward telescope, are also presented and compared with the model predictions.
