NGC~3310 is a peculiar SAB(r)bc galaxy with giant H{\sc ii} regions, star-burst nuclear activity, and evidence of a past merger. I present a variety of long-slit spectroscopic data covering both the nuclear region and the outer linear feature (the `arrow' in the poetic `bow-and-arrow' description of this galaxy). The spectral coverage includes several emission lines. The velocity field(s) and some line ratios derived from these data are discussed in the context of other work.
