This talk will present the results of a three and a half year search for distant galaxy clusters. From 13 square degrees of deep I band imaging, 106 candidate clusters have been found. At least half of the candidates are expected to be as rich as Abell richness class zero with a median red-shift greater than $z=0.5$. The method by which candidates were found and the use of such clusters will be discussed. This talk will also present new data on galaxy counts and new data on the low order angular correlation functions.
