A summary of recent results from the EGRET gamma ray telescope on
the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory will be shown. This report will
focus especially on measurements of the extragalactic diffuse
emission, a recent discovery of pulsed gamma ray emission from
PSR 1951+32, the photon energy spectra from diffuse Galactic plane
emission, and on selected point sources.
