[20.14] Structural Decomposition of the TMC Ridge

We have analyzed the structure of the ridge in the Taurus Molecular Cloud 1 from 45 GHz emission of the CCS molecule. The CCS molecule has been demonstrated to be a useful tracer of small scale structure in dense cores in dark clouds. We used NASA's Deep Space Network 34-m antenna at Goldstone, California to make high velocity resolution (\sim 8 m/s) observations of the 4_3 \rightarrow3_2 transition. This is a Nyquist sampled map at 25\arcsec sampling. We use a number of structure analysis programs to decompose the map into its components. We present the statistics of these features in order to understand the dynamical processes in this region.
