[43.10] EUVE and Optical Spectropolarimetric Observations of AG-Draconis

We present recent observations of the symbiotic star, AG-Draconis. The observations were obtained at the University of Wisconsin's Pine Bluff Observatory (PBO) in the wavelength range 3000Å\ to 11000Å\ and by the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer (EUVE). The EUVE observation was obtained during 1993 December and 1994 January. A total of 10^5 seconds of integration failed to detect this object, which is known to be a strong source in both X-rays and the near UV. The most probable explanation of the failure to detect AG-Dra at the shortest EUVE wavelengths is that the HI column density on this sight line is considerably in excess of 10^20cm^-2. PBO spectropolarimetry shows both systematic and erratic polarimetric variability. We also see variability of the Raman scattered O VI lines near H-alpha. A preliminary model of the scattering processes will be discussed.
