Session 66 - Young Clusters, High-Mass YSOs and Their Environment.
Oral session, Tuesday, January 16
Salon del Rey Central, Hilton
We present estimates for the effective temperature, luminosity, extinction and excess infrared emission for \sim40 members of the young embedded cluster NGC 2024. These results were derived from infrared (2.15-2.35 \mum) spectroscopy and J, H, K and L^\prime\ photometry. We estimate the masses and ages of these stars by comparing their location on the H-R diagram to theoretical pre-main sequence evolutionary tracks. These results are used to explore issues of co-evality, mass and/or age segregation and disk activity in NGC 2024.
