Session 71 - Space Astronomy in the Next Millennium.
Display session, Wednesday, January 17
North Banquet Hall, Convention Center
A new class of x-ray telescope is under development at the University of Colorado. The system uses classical spherical mirrors at grazing incidence to achieve extremely high resolution imaging at very modest cost. Results from the calibrations of the first subarcsecond telescope will be presented. The application to future observatories for X-ray Astronomy will be discussed.
