[60.11] GZ Andromeda, The More the Merrier

R. L. Walker (U.S.N.O. Flagstaff Station)

GZ Andromeda is a trapezium system consisting of five stars. The eclipsing pair of the quintuplet is a W-Ursae Majoris Type with a periond of 0.305 days. This paper is a continuation of study begun in 1973, now presented with a WD-Light-Curve solution and new information on an astrometric companion revealed by a power spectrum analysis. The power spectrum analysis, of the ephemeris residuals, shows a peak probability that corresponds to 5.3 years and a semi amplitude of 8.6 minutes of time. The latter quantity is attributed to the light time effect of GZ AND and the astrometric binary revolving about a common center of gravity.
