[44.10] Radio and X-ray Observations of the Exotic Binary LSI +61^\circ 303

LSI +61^\circ 303 is an exotic, high-mass X-ray binary associated with the highly variable radio source GT 0236+610 and possibly also with the \gamma-ray source 2CG\,135+01. The radio source has a bright (100--300 mJy) radio outburst once per 26.496 day orbital period. We have performed a two-year long program of radio monitoring observations at 2.25 and 8.3 GHz using the Green Bank Interferometer (GBI). Monitoring of LSI +61^\circ 303 was initiated to track the radio behavior of during ASCA observations (Leahy, Harrison, and Yoshida 1996, ApJ, in press), continued during CGRO observations (Tavani et al. 1996, Aamp;AS, submitted, Kniffen et al. 1996, ApJ, submitted), and is now supporting RXTE observations. In 1996 March we observed LSI +61^\circ 303 with RXTE as part of a multi-wavelength campaign. Ten 10,000-second pointings were spread out over one orbital period with supporting daily radio observations at 2.25 and 8.3 GHz (GBI) and 15 GHz (Ryle telescope). In this paper we will present a preliminary analysis of the radio and X-ray lightcurves over one orbit. In addition we present timing analysis of the Radio and X-ray data, including a sensitive search for fast X-ray pulsations. Periodic X-ray emission is predicted to be present in many models of the source for which the compact object is a moderately young neutron star (similar to the systems PSR B1259-63 and PSR J0045-7319).
