Session 3 - Source Surveys, Galaxy Surveys, Distance Scale I.

Exhibit Hall,
We present distances to M87 and several of its neighbors, including several of its companions, as derived from surface brightness fluctuations in images from the Hubble Space Telescope. We also examine the globular clusters of M87 using archived HST fields, and find that the two populations of clusters, apparent from the double peaked color distribution, have different spatial distributions. We also find that M87's companions that have tidally truncated morphological profiles (NGC 4486B and NGC 4478) have truncated globular cluster distributions as well.
