[4.05] The New Educational Facility at the NAIC Arecibo Observatory

A new Educational Center was inaugurated at the Arecibo Observatory in June of 1997. This project provides an example of how a National Research Center can contribute to education. We present a summary of the many-year effort to raise funds and construct this Center, a description of the Center and a review of our activities in the first nine months of operation.
