The FIRST survey completed its fourth round of observing in July, 1997. To date, approximately 5000 square degrees of sky have been imaged to a 20cm flux density threshold of 1.0 mJy. A new catalog of radio sources containing 425,000 entries will be released at the time of this meeting. All sources have positions accurate to better than 1" (90% confidence). This poster will provide a detailed description of the new survey results and a discussion of future plans. We will also provide a summary of some of the science projects being carried out by the FIRST survey team. These include the FIRST Bright QSO Survey (FBQS), a search for gravitationally lensed quasars, a search for high redshift clusters, a survey of radio emission from stars, and a number of projects related to large-scale structure and cosmology.
