Recent ROSAT PSPC and HRI observations of nearby (d<12 Mpc) face-on and nearly face-on galaxies have provided a unique opportunity to catalog individual X-ray point sources, primarily supernova remnants, in these galaxies. Using archived ROSAT observations, we have prepared an initial sample of 34 nearby face-on spiral galaxies that have been observed with both the PSPC instrument (as well as the HRI instrument, in some cases) and with the VLA at 21 cm. Using available data, position coincidences have been sought between sources at the X-ray, radio and optical wavelengths. Initial results for surveys of several well- studied galaxies are presented.
