[53.10] Evolution of Clusters of Galaxies in the 150 Square Degree ROSAT Survey

We present a sample of 220 clusters detected as extended X-ray sources in a wide area ROSAT PSPC survey covering 150 square degrees on the sky. The \log(N)-\log(S) relation for clusters is best described by a model in which the comoving number density increases while the typical cluster X-ray luminosity decreases with redshift. Using both spectroscopic and photometric redshifts, we search for evolution of cluster core-radii. We find no evolution of cluster sizes between z=0.5 and z=0. For an assumined q_0=0.5, the ratio of the average core radius at z\sim 0.5 and z=0 is 1.1 \pm 0.3.
