[56.04] Multiwavelength Observations of BL LAC Object Mrk 501

We have assembled multiwavelength spectra of Mrk 501 for the quiescent emission state, for a emission low state in 1996, and for strong emission in 1997. Evidence is present (with statistical significance of 3.5\sigma in 1996) for EGRET emission at times of peak TeV emission. The spectra and lightcurves will be compared to a synchrotron-self-Compton emission model. ( This work supported in part by NASA grant NAG 5-3384.)
