[103.14] New Results for the Flaring Blazar PMN J0850-1213

S. D. Bloom (NASA/GSFC)

The most recent multiwavelength observational results for the newly identified blazar, PMN J0850-1213 are presented. In addition to being a likely counterpart for a high energy gamma-ray source, this object has undergone a radio and millimeter outburst during 1997. Theoretical interpretation of the flare and spectral energy distribution is discussed
