[112.01] The Cosmic Microwave Background: Beyond the Power Spectrum

M. Kamionkowski (Columbia U.)

The primary aim of future cosmic microwave background (CMB) missions. such as NASA's MAP and ESA's Planck Survey. is recovery of the angular power spectrum of temperature anisotropies (the C_\ell's). However, there is more than can be done with data from these (or perhaps other future) experiments. Here I discuss what may be learned from polarization measurements, from higher-order correlation functions, and from cross-correlation with other cosmological backgrounds.
