[38.01] New Data and Features in the ADS Abstract and Article Services

During the last six months we included a significant number of conference proceedings references in the Abstract Service. New features in the Abstract Service include a user-customized Table of Contents query page and user-settable reference formatting. The user-customized Table of Contents query page shows only journals for which new articles are available that the user has not read. The user-settable reference formatting allows the user to specify the format of the retrieved references. Several formats (eg the ApJ format and the Icarus format) can be selected, or a completely user-defined format can be specified. We have also included books from several publishers in the database.

The Article Service is now mirrored completely on our mirror site in Japan. New scans include the complete Astronomy and Astrophysics and Meteoritics and Planetary Sciences, both back to volume 1, as well as several years of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Supplements.
