[52.14] Anisotropy in the Cosmic Microwave Background: Results from Python V

We present observations of the microwave sky made with the Python experiment in its fifth year of operation at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica. The Python telescope was fitted with a HEMT amplifier-based radiometer, yielding sensitivity to the microwave sky from 37-45 GHz in two frequency bands for each pixel in a 1 \times 2 array, each pixel with a one degree beam on the sky. The instrument densely samples \sim 500 square degrees on the sky, which includes the fields measured during the previous four years of Python observations. Interpreting observed fluctuations as anisotropy in the cosmic microwave background radiation, we place constraints on the angular power spectrum of fluctuations in several different multipole bands up to l \sim 200 (\sim 1 degree).
