We observed 46P/Wirtanen at the CTIO-1.5m telescope August 8-12, September 6-7, and November 3-4, 1996 in the R filter. On August 10, we also used U,B,V,I filters to track possible color variations.
In all our observations a discernable coma was present. We are extracting lightcurve information from the data and will present the results of our period search and compare our values with the ones given by Meech {\it et al.\/} 1997 and Lamy {\it et al.\/} 1998. We also investigate the temporal changes in the coma from August to November 1996. Those results will also be presented.
