Using purely optical morphological criteria, we have selected candidates for AGN host galaxy imaging from a large, heterogeneous sample of radio-, optical-, and X-ray-selected sources. The parent sample is restricted in apparent B magnitude and redshift z to 12.5We will discuss whether the selection of these candidates depends on their radio properties, specifically 5 GHz radio power and the ratio of radio-to-optical flux densities. Preliminary tests indicate that the morphological criteria select radio-loud and radio-quiet sources in the same proportion as their presence in the heterogeneous parent sample.
