[16.05] Modeling FIR Continuum and Line Emission in the HII Region S125

P.A. Aannestad (ASU), R.E. Emery (RAL)

The HII region S125 appears to be a prototype ``blister'' HII region seen face-on and on the near side of a parent molecular cloud. It is excited by a B0V star near the center of the nebula. LWS spectra were taken by ISO at 18 positions in a cross raster covering ±12 arcmins from the center, plus at an additional 5 positions coinciding with IR sources. Here we consider the observed [CII]156 micron and [OI]145 micron line emission as well as the dust continuum emission from the general HII region and the associated molecular cloud. Model results are given for an axisymmetric density distribution as well as for the off-centered, spherically symmetric distribution deduced by Roger and Irwin (1982, Ap.J.,256,127). Recently available NLTE model atmospheres for the ionizing star are employed.
