Narrow band polarimetric images have been obtained of several young stellar objects (YSOs). The polarization of the H2 emission of several YSOs has been measured, together with the polarization of the adjacent continuum. The substraction of the polarized continuum from the polarized H2 emission allows us to determine the geometrical location of the shock-excited molecular gas. The morphologies of these star formation regions are revealed through polarimetry: emission lines - continuum at near-infrared wavelengths.
