[107.12] VLBA 7 mm and JCMT 1.3 mm Multi-epoch Polarization Observations of a Sample of Radio-Bright AGNs

We have begun a program of bi-monthly VLBA polarimetric imaging at 7 mm and JCMT polarimetry at 1.3 mm, supplemented by more frequent total and, at some wavelengths, polarized flux monitoring at 3 mm to 6 cm, of a sample of 15 bright compact extragalactic radio sources. These include quasars, radio galaxies, and BL Lac objects. We will present results from the first half-year of observations. In some cases, there is a close correspondence between the polarization of the core seen on the VLBA images and the 1.3 mm polarization. In other cases, there is no apparent relation.

We will show the VLBA images and the latest results comparing the 1.3 and 7 mm polarization properties.
