[53.05] The Stellar Locus of M67 in the SDSS Filters

C. M. Rockosi (U. of Chicago), SDSS Collaboration

Photometry in all 5 SDSS filters, taken with the SPIcam single-CCD imager on the ARC 3.5m telescope, is presented for a quarter square degree in M67. While the data can not yet be put on the final Survey photometric system, relative photometry is used to construct color-color and color-magnitude diagrams for this well-studied open cluster. The membership, age and metallicity estimates and other information about the cluster population that can be obtained from this data demonstrate the astrophysical versatility of the filter system and will go toward calibrating photometric indicators of stellar properties which can then be applied to other stellar systems.
