[66.03] Photometric Outbursts in Mira B

Photoelectric photometry of Mira near minimum light show two outbursts of 0.6 mag on a two hour time scale. We construct a three component model for the photometry: Mira A (at minimum light), a white dwarf (Mira B), and accretion material surrounding Mira B. The time scale indicates that accretion processes surrounding Mira B are responsible for the outbursts rather than changes in the stellar wind of Mira A
