[3.04] BV Photometry of the Globular Cluster M3

T. M. Corwin (UNC Charlotte), B. W. Carney (UNC Chapel Hill)

We present new BV photometry for over 200 variables in the globular cluster M3. New ephemerides are computed, and V and B light curves are given. For many of the variables, the period is given for the first time. Estimates of fundamental photometric parameters are presented including intensity and magnitude averaged V and B magnitudes and magnitude averaged colors. The variables are located on the horizontal branch of the color-magnitude diagram. Graphs of B amplitude vs. color and vs. log period are presented.
