We present a new photometric study of the globular cluster NGC288 in the BATC intermediate band filter system. The NGC288 is known to have an intermediate metallicity but its color magnitude diagram has a pure blue horizontal branch, which is a signature of metal poor stellar population. We construct a low resolution Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) library of 1645 stars in the filed with 12 bands of the BATC system. Comparing the SED library of NGC 288 with the Kurucz' stellar atmosphere model (1993), we obtain physical parameters of each member star including effective temperature, metal abundance and surface gravity. The statistic result of metallicity of NGC 288 by this study is < [Fe/H]> = -1.47±0.45.
