J.M. Stanford, M. Dittmann (Georgia Perimeter College)

We present an introduction to online education. Planned topics of discussion include how to get started in developing your course, and maintaining and developing your course as you teach. We also present tips to increase student involvement and success. Included are data from a current online course and student comments concernng what works and what does not work when teaching online. Data are presented comparing responses to test questions for students in an online course and in a traditional, lecture-driven course.
