We have analyzed four years of RXTE/ASM 2-12 keV light curve and about 200 ks PCA data for XTE J1716-389. The ASM light curve shows the source to have generally persisted at an intensity of ~25 mCrab for about four years. Despite its relatively low intensity, it exhibits variability, seen as prominent dips in the ASM light curve, which may have an associated period of ~100 days. The intensity in the dips may decrease to less than 10% of the average count rate and the total duration of a dip may be as much as ~40 days. We will present the ASM light curve and the PCA spectral and timing behavior of this source. Possible mechanisms for the observed periodic modulation will be discussed.
