[10.05] An Amateur Astronomer's Experiences With Amateur-Professional Relations

This is a history of one amateur's ten years of experiences, both bad and good, in dealing with professional astronomers. Several varied projects are covered. The relevant aspects of the author's background and personality are disclosed, the amateur-professional relations he experienced are chronicled, and the lessons he learned are explained.
