We present an analysis of Chandra data of the Crab pulsar and nebula. Results of the spatial variation of the X-ray spectrum across the nebula will be presented. The spectral results include an analysis of the ``pile-up'' of the detected X-ray photons, which has a significant effect on the shape of the detected X-ray spectra of the pulsar and nebula. Single power-law fits to the dispersed and undispersed spectra of the pulsar yield a photon index of about 1.8 and fits to spatially-separate regions of the nebula yield indices between about two and three.
