We introduce a proposal of a new wide band hybrid X-ray imaging spectro polarimeter. This camera is realized by the combination of thin X-ray CCDs for 0.1--10~keV band and a Micro Pixel Gas Chamber (MPGC) detecting X-rays at 10--40~keV.
The X-ray CCD is a backside illumination type and thinned leaving only depletion layer of ~100\mum. The small pixel of the CCD with its goal of 8\mum enables us to detect X-ray polarization below 10~keV band. The MPGC is placed just under the thinned CCD and detects high energy X-rays unabsorbed in the CCD. The MPGC is also able to measure the X-ray polarization.
We propose the hybrid X-ray camera as a focal plane detector of the super mirrors onboard on the post ASTRO-E(-II) and other future missions.
