[13.13] Chandra observation of the inner regions of the cooling-flow galaxy cluster A1795

S. Ettori, S. W. Allen, A. C. Fabian (Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge, UK)

We present spatial and spectral analysis of the central 350 h50-1 kpc in radius of the cooling flow galaxy cluster A1795. A 30 arcsec filament extending to South of the cD galaxy appears in the X-ray map in coincidence with the H\alpha structure. The temperature of the plasma rises from about 2 keV in this region to about 5 keV at 3 arcmin from the X-ray centre. Two-dimensional distributions of the gas density, temperature, pressure, cooling time obtained from the spectral analysis are presented. Moreover, the constraints on the distribution of the dark matter in the cluster central region are discussed.
