[33.07] Phase Resolved Spectroscopic Observations of the Crab Pulsar before and Shortly After a Glitch

K. Jahoda (NASA/GSFC), A. Rots (CfA), A. Lyne (U. Manchester)

We present phase resolved X-ray spectra from the Crab Pulsar. The data are drawn from our regular monitoring campaign (which covers the nearly 5 years of Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer operations with bi-weekly observations), and three observations obtained shortly (within 1.3 to 5.5 days) following the radio glitch at MJD 51740.78 (July 15, 2000). No previous high energy observations of the Crab pulsar have been obtained this quickly following a glitch.
